Terms and Conditions
1. Bookings should be made in writing either by email or by post to:

Le Grand Saule Chambre d'Hotes Bed and Breakfast Accommodation

- this is to ensure you get the dates and service you require as telephone lines
can sometimes be poor and errors made.
2. To make a reservation a deposit of 25% of the total should be sent
- please phone or email first to make sure we have the dates you want.
3. Remainder of payment on arrival for Le Grand Saule Bed and Breakfast Accommodation.
3a. For Le Grand Saule Self Catering Accommodation in our apartment final payment is
required 28 days prior to arrival.
4. Cleaning: Guests are requested to leave the apartment in the same clean condition as on their arrival.
A breakage / cleaning fee is requested of £50 which is fully refundable on departure.
Daily cleaning of the apartment is also available for a small fee of 10 euro (this includes making beds, cleaning bathroom and emptying bins).
A final clean after departure is also available for 25 euro.
Breakfasts are available in the main house for those in the self catering apartment by arrangement and for a fee of 7 euro per person.
A variety of easy payment options are available please ask for details.
3. Cancellation / refund Fees: For bookings of one night a 7 day notification is required. For bookings of 4 nights or longer notification of one month is required for all bed and breakfast accommodation before full deposit can be returned. One month notice required for Self Catering accommodation and if we are able to re-book however we are happy to return your deposit in full.
4. We apologise we are not able to take debit or credit card. We do have a number of easy payment options which we are happy to provide and discuss including pay pal.
5. We are unable to take payments for third parties here at Le Grand Saule such as hire car companies or interpreters.
6. Rooms at Le Grand Saule are available from 4 pm on day of arrival although we are happy for you to arrive early and leave your car in the grounds to go for a walk or just to relax. If attending weddings or local festivities we may be able to have the room ready earlier for you to use - please ask and we will do our best.
7. Vacation of the rooms prior to 11.00 am in order that we can prepare for the next guests.

8. Please note:
Double rooms have a double bed and can take an extra single bed fold out bed. Our Family room has a double bed and a single bed and can take two further single fold out beds.
The Family room is for families with children and therefore any extra adults are required to pay a small charge of 7 euro per adult per night
9. No cooked food in the rooms as smells can sometimes be offensive to other guests.
10. Children : We are more than happy to cater for children but parents should take full responsibility at all times. Cots and highchairs are provided free of charge.
11. We are dog friendly accommodation but must ask that owners take responsibility for their pets. We are happy to provide water or food bowls and doggy bags. Pets are welcome to go anywhere apart from the kitchen. But we would ask you to be mindful of other guests who may not be used to animals or may be alergic.
We have to make a small charge of 5 euro per visit as rooms need to be cleaned thoroughly prior to the next guest to remove all dog hairs - the next guest may have an alergy to pets!
12. Please be advised that it is wise for you to take out holiday insurance as under french law we as hosts can not be held responsible for accidents.
